Powered by 27 & 40 MHz radio-control technology (not just infrared) allowing “drivers” to stay in control even though the car zooms around a corner and out of sight. Plus, its tiny controller fits easily into small hands (as well as a pocket or backpack). In fact, the entire package (car, controller, and cones) stows in a soda-can sized “garage” for enhanced portability.
 
The controller requires two AA batteries that also charge the car’s on-board lithium rechargeable battery. A 5 to 10 minute charge provides about five minutes of drive time. Also included are four red “traffic cones” for testing driving skills and setting race courses.  Car has LED headlights and tail lights. Comes in 2 available frequencies, 27 and 40 MHz, to allow for multiple car racing without interference from your friend’s remote! Requires 2 AA batteries (not included).
